I was pleasantly surprised when I brewed a pot of this coffee. I had tried some store products that were supposed to be "smooth" but didn't have the taste that this product did.It's a good cup of coffee for those of us who have stomach problems & can't take the high acid coffee.
maybe it's because we're used to folgers but we only found this to be tolerable, not enjoyable. When we had to switch to low acid coffee I couldn't find it locally so we tried this to see if it would still cause us stomach problems. It didn't but we weren't that thrilled with it. Tried the Folgers Simply Smooth Medium Roast and liked it much better.
We have enjoyed some delicious coffees, however, this particular blend is by far the best. Our guests agree wholeheartedly: This coffee would make an outstanding ice cream.

I have tried the french roast and found it to be secondary to the organic house blend.
Very satisfied with low acid coffee - I feel like I can have a cup of coffee without all that acid.
I make espresso with it and think the flavor is fantastic. I first found this stuff in my local grocery store. Coffee normally wreaks havoc on my digestive system (I'll spare you the details) but this stuff has no undesirable side effects. It's not just because I haven't had coffee in years - I still know a bad cup when I taste it. Perhaps the reviewer who thought the flavor was bland needs to use a bit more than usual, because I find it flavorful with no strange notes or aftertastes.
